Banjo’s Independence Day Weekend Cousins Extravaganza!

Last weekend, we celebrated big at the Pattillo house with lots of family and friends. Benjamin won the cousin lotto; he got to hang out with his Wootan cousins and some of his Pattillo cousins – even better, they were delivered to his doorstep.

Andrew and Gina arrived late Friday night. Benjamin was thrilled to see his cousins and the playing started right away. In fact, the only thing that got the kids to bed that night was the promise of a trip to the Fort Worth Zoo the next day. Despite the crazy temperatures, we had a great time on Saturday.

On Sunday, Matt and Stacy arrived along with Abel and the newest family member, Noble Emmanuel. For a couple of hours, all the cousins – Wootans and Pattillos – got to play. It was pretty cool.

The 4th of July was a nice day with both family and friends joining us. And we rounded out Matt and Stacy’s visit with more cousin bonding time.

We had a busy few days, and it was really special to have our family and good friends here with us.
