This weekend we had the good fortune of watching Tim run his most recent marathon in the perfect fall locale - Rhode Island. The Bagley family was kind enough to open their home to us and give us a tour of lots of cool areas around Barrington. I was just amazed by this beautiful and charming place that looked like a postcard around every corner.
Some highlights of our trip were
Seeing Fenway Park (even from the tour bus, pretty cool)
Picking raspberries, which Jessica later used to make a pie - so good
Eating delicious seafood
And, of course, just hanging out with the Bagley's.
Benjamin had so much fun with Matilda and Lulu. And it was great to spend time with Jessica and Ron. I sure wish they could move back to Dallas but...Rhode Island is really great. If they can't be in Texas, they've got an awesome place to call home.
All in all, this trip - with its chill in the air, fall leaves, and good friends - was a breath of fresh air for the Pattillo family. As we cruise back to Texas above the clouds, I'm so grateful we got to make this trip together.
